I believe that psychotherapy can be a life-changing practice, and that positive and productive therapy begins with a safe, trusting, confidential, and empathic client/therapist alliance.
My approach is based in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which means I find value in resolving concerns not only in the present moment, but also with attention to their origin and your future health and happiness. I integrate various modalities, including CBT, object relations, Jungian orientation, and Vedic psychology, as relevant and helpful to you. My specializations include: relationship difficulties; challenges specific to creative professionals; issues surrounding death and dying (including pregnancy loss, palliative work, and bereavement); integration of spirituality and meditation practices; and the management of anxiety and depression.
